SK's Copper Vanity

Oak and Copper Patina

My new cottage wanted something a bit different for the vanity. I have seen this done many times but it was a challenge to find the perfect size dresser.

I kept the top surface and the styles a cherry stained oak. The final coat on the wood surface is a spar varnish created for boats. The hand-pounder sink and bronze finish faucet were next.
Modern Masters Metal Effects Paints are a favorite. As a farm girl, I love the look of rust and patina. This is what I came up with.
This cabinet vanity will look amazing on the acacia wood floors. The shower floor is pennies. Pics soon.
Large crystal knobs will be the final touch. Pics to come.

Thanks for visiting. sk
