Dan

Dan is a visitor to White Oaks Bed and Breakfast. Dan has also become a friend. A friend whose wisdom, courage and pain he pretty much keeps to himself.
Dan shared a small amount with me and  also gave me permission to share his thoughts with you.

Don’t lose your way
With each passing day
You’ve come so far
Don’t throw it away.

Live believing
Dreams are for weaving
Wander on, waiting to start
And live your story
Faith, hope and glory
Hold to the Truth in your heart.

If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
Where clouds roll by
For you and I
Souls in the wind
Learn how to bend.

Seek out a star
Hold on till the end
Valleys and mountains
There is a fountain
Washes tears away
Worlds are swaying
Someone is praying
Please let us come home to stay

If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever

When we are out there in the dark
We’ll dream dreams about the sun

    Thanks Kirsty. We all have friends or family that struggle with illness grief or pain. I can only hope each of us will have a support of loved ones when this happens.
